Law to Encourage Entrepreneurship |

On April 12, 2017 Law No 27,349 on Entrepreneurship was published in the Official Gazette. The Law provides tax benefits to encourage investors interested in this type of project; as well as creating the legal figure of the Simplified Corporation. This new corporate type will allow to incorporate and register a company via the Internet, obtain a Single Tax Identification Code (CUIT) within 24 hours and open a bank account on the spot.

| On December 13, 2016, Tribunal V of the Federal Administrative Court of Appeals confirmed Resolution No. 721 issued by the Superintendent of Financial and Exchange Institutions of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, which fined Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A. and the members of its Board of Directors for a total of AR$1,353,000, for infractions to the “know your customer” policy implemented by Communiqué “A” 3094.

| El 12 de abril de 2017 se publicó en el Boletín Oficial la Ley N° 27.349 de “Apoyo al Capital Emprendedor”, la cual introduce beneficios fiscales a inversores de este tipo de proyectos, y crea las Sociedades por Acciones Simplificadas. Este nuevo tipo societario permitirá la constitución y registración de una sociedad vía internet, la obtención de la Clave Única de Identificación Tributaria (CUIT) en un plazo de 24 horas y la apertura de una cuenta bancaria en el acto. |
