Temporary Export Duty Exemption for Meat and Poultry

On September 23, 2025, by means of Decree 685/2025, the Federal Executive set a zero-rate export duty on exports of meat (beef and poultry) included in the annex of said Decree.

Exporters of these products must repatriate and settle at least 90% of the foreign currency proceeds within a maximum of three business days from filing the export permit.

If they do not comply with this requirement, they will both be applied the original export duty rate prior to Decree 685/25 and be banned from accessing this special exemption again until the situation is rectified.

This measure will be in force from September 24 until October 31, 2025.
