Dumping – Water Pumps
A sunset and a changed-circumstances reviews were initiated for the anti-dumping measure applicable to certain water pumps originating in China.
Through Resolution 1459/2026, the Ministry of Economy initiated a sunset review and changed-circumstances review regarding the anti-dumping measure applicable to exports to Argentina of “Pumps for coolant or water for spark-ignition or compression-ignition engines, with a flow rate of between two cubic meters per hour (2 m³/hour) and eighteen cubic meters per hour (18 m³/hour), intended for the non-OEM replacement market, weighing between zero point five kilograms (0.5 kg) and eighteen kilograms (18 kg) per unit, and designed for engines used in cars, trucks, pickup trucks, utility vehicles, agricultural equipment, tractors, boats, generator sets, mobile power plants and other stationary spark-ignition or compression-ignition engines, excluding engines for railway and aviation applications and pumps of the following brands: Kia, Mitsubishi, Caterpillar, Yue Jin, Chrysler, Cummins, Deutz and Suzuki,” originating in the People's Republic of China. The Ministry also decided not to maintain the anti-dumping measure in force while the review is conducted.
The products involved are classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Code (NCM) 8413.30.90.
The review was requested by the company VMG SA.
At this stage, the Argentine Foreign Trade Commission (CNCE) determined a presumed dumping recurrence margin of 16.00% for exports originating in China to Argentina and 136.14% for exports originating in China to Colombia, which was used as the selected third-country market.
