Mariano Zanotti

Mariano Zanotti joined Marval O'Farrell Mairal in 2022 and is a member of the Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) and Entertainment, eSports & Gaming practice areas.

He focuses his practice on telecommunications, media and technology, satellite and space law, artificial intelligence, data protection, cybersecurity, online platforms, gaming and gambling regulation, and corporate and regulatory matters. He regularly advises national and international companies on complex legal and regulatory issues involving technology-driven business models, digital services, connectivity, data, entertainment, online gaming and emerging technologies.

Mariano also actively participates in Marval’s internal legal innovation and technology transformation initiatives, including projects related to the responsible use of artificial intelligence, the improvement of internal processes and the review of technology tools applicable to legal practice. He has also collaborated on internal matters related to Marval’s ISO 27001 certification, particularly in connection with confidentiality, information protection, and the implementation of institutional policies.

Before joining Marval, Mariano worked in various public agencies, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship and the Ministry of Transportation. His public-sector background provides him with practical experience in regulatory, institutional and public policy matters.

Mariano graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (2015-2018). He completed a Specialization in Information Technology Law at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (2019-2020) and a Master's Degree in Tax Law at Universidad Austral (2019-2020). He has also completed postgraduate courses on personal data protection, cybersecurity, fintech, business, technology and law, data governance, and cybersecurity strategy management.
