María Macarena García Mirri joined Marval O'Farrell Mairal in 2006 and has been a partner in the Corporate/M&A area since 2019. She has over twenty years of experience in corporate and commercial law. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and complex corporate transactions.
She provides comprehensive advice on mergers and acquisitions, asset and share transfers, shareholders’ agreements, corporate reorganizations, and the structuring and negotiation of strategic alliances and joint investment vehicles. She has participated in numerous significant transactions, representing both buyers and sellers and acting throughout all stages of the transaction, from due diligence to closing.
She has extensive experience advising domestic and multinational companies in sectors including energy, mining, logistics, consumer goods, intermediation, insurance and reinsurance. She is also regularly involved in corporate conflicts and shareholders’ disputes, representing listed and non-listed companies, as well as majority and minority shareholders.
Since 2025, she has served on the Legal Council of the Chamber of Companies.
Her professional work has been recognized by The Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner, by IFLR1000 as a Rising Star Partner, and she is ranked by Chambers Latin America 2026.
She earned her law degree from the University of Buenos Aires (2005) and completed a postgraduate program in Corporate Legal Advisory at Universidad Católica Argentina. She is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association.
