Eugenio Hoss

Eugenio Hoss is a partner at Marval O'Farrell Mairal in the Industrial Property team. He advises both local and international companies on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including prosecution and litigation, in Argentina and across Latin America. extensive experience advising clients on technology transfer agreements and other IP transactions. Eugenio co-leads the firm’s German Desk.

He graduated as lawyer from the Universidad Austral in 2004 and in 2011, he obtained an LLM on Intellectual Property and Competition Law at the MIPLC in Germany. He was a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and in 2019 he obtained a Ph.D. summa cum laude at the LMU University of Munich.

He has lectured at several institutions including the Universidad Austral, Universidad de San Andrés and Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (Spain). Additionally, he has delivered presentations at various conferences, both domestically and internationally. Eugenio has also authored numerous articles and books on topics within his area of expertise for both national and international publications.

He is currently a member of the Buenos Aires Bar (CPACF), AIPPI, FICPI, ASIPI, GRUR, and the German-Argentinian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK), where he actively participates in its Innovation Committee and its German Desk.
