Eugenio Hoss is a partner at Marval O'Farrell Mairal in the Industrial Property team. He advises both local and international companies on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including prosecution and litigation, in Argentina and throughout Latin America. His practice is particularly focused on patent law, with extensive experience in technology transfer agreements and other IP-driven transactions. Eugenio also co-leads the firm’s German Desk.
He graduated as lawyer from the Universidad Austral in 2004 and in 2011, he obtained an LLM on Intellectual Property and Competition Law at the MIPLC in Germany. He was a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and, in 2019, earned a Ph.D. from the University of Munich (LMU).
Eugenio regularly lectures at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has taught at Universidad Austral, Universidad de San Andrés, and Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (Spain). He is also a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and has authored two books and numerous articles for both local and international publications.
He is currently a member of the Buenos Aires Bar (CPACF), AIPPI, FICPI, ASIPI, GRUR, and the German-Argentinian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK).
