Marval O´Farrell Mairal Appoints New Partners
Last week, the firm appointed attorneys Agustina M. Ranieri, Francisco Abeal, Fernando M. Alemany, and Eugenio Hoss as new partners, as from August 1st.
Agustina M. Ranieri joined the firm in 2007 and currently works in Energy and Corporate Finance. Throughout her career, she worked as an international associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York and at The Walt Disney Company (Latin America). She graduated with honours from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and her academic background includes a master’s degree in Economic Analysis of Law from Universidad Complutense in Madrid.
Francisco Abeal works in the Banking & Finance and Foreign Exchange and Capital Controls practice areas. Like Ranieri, he worked as an associate foreign attorney in New York, but for Bingham McCuthen LLP (currently Morgan, Lewis & Bockius). He graduated from the Universidad Católica Argentina with a law degree in 2006. His academic achievements include an LLM from Northwestern University Pritzker School in Chicago. Francisco is currently member of the Comité de Abogados de Bancos de la República Argentina.
Fernando M. Alemany is a member of the firm since 2008, and currently works in the Litigation & Arbitration area. Before joining the firm, he worked in the Bulló and M&M Bomchil lawfirms. He graduated with honours from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and was an exchange student at New York University. His academic background includes a master’s degree in Corporate Law at the Universidad de San Andrés and a recent postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence and Law at the University of Buenos Aires.
Finally, Eugenio Hoss specializes in Industrial Property, an area of the firm in which he has worked for over a decade. His academic background includes an LLM in Intellectual Property from the MIPLC in Germany (2011), and a PhD. from the University of Munich (2019).
