Antidumping Proceeding: Industrial Steel Wind Towers
A new investigation was opened due to alleged dumping of industrial steel wind towers—conical or not—and their parts.
Through Resolution 218/2026, the Ministry of Economy opened a new investigation due to alleged dumping, concerning exports from China to Argentina of “industrial steel wind towers—conical or not—and their parts, with a minimum height of 50 meters, measured from the base of the tower to the base of the nacelle, whether presented alone or with a wind power generator (wind turbine).”
The products involved are classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Code (NCM) 7308.20.00 and 8502.31.00.
So far, the Argentine Foreign Trade Commission (CNCE) has determined a weighted average dumping margin of 46.39% for exports originating in China.
