Ministry of Economy Repeals Balance Volume for Agricultural Commodities

Resolution 302/2024 of the Ministry of Economy, published in the Official Gazette on May 10, 2024, repealed the balance volume established through Resolution 276/2021.

The purpose of the balance volume was to regulate the sales made to foreign persons, mainly of wheat and corn, to protect the supply of the domestic market. In doing so, the sales to be registered as export commitments for exports of agricultural commodities (DJVE) could not exceed the balance volume established by the Administration.

The resolution removes this obstacle on the registration of DJVEs to simplify commerce in the agricultural sector.
