Federal:
Joint Resolution No. 1/2021 issued by the Secretariat of Environmental Policy in Natural Resources and the Secretariat of Climate Change, Sustainable Development, and Innovation. The Resolution creates a Joint Working Group for developing the Regional Climate Change Adaptation Plan for the Paraná River Delta.
Resolution No. 299/2021 issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. The Resolution establishes guidelines for the management of elemental mercury, its mixtures, and compounds as well as mercury-added products.
Resolution No. 290/2021 issued by the Ministry of Environmental and Sustainable Development. The Resolution creates the Federal Program to Strengthen the Circular, Inclusive, Community and Local Economy called “PRECICLO”, aimed at strengthening the integral management of household wastes in different urban centers throughout the country, with a focus on circular economy and gender equality.
Resolution No. 263/2021 issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. The Resolution approves the operational list of hazardous wastes included in the categories subject to oversight listed in Annex I of Law No. 24,051.
Resolution No. 249/2021 issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. The Resolution amends section 3 of annex I of Resolution No. 206/2016 issued by the former Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development that established the procedure for verifying fulfilment of the duty to submit an environmental insurance policy pursuant to section 22 of the General Environmental Law (No. 25,675).
Resolution No. 218/2021 issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. The Resolution creates the Federal Network of Assistance to Beached Marine Animals with the general objective of promoting the articulation and cooperation between the jurisdictions of Buenos Aires, Rio Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands, Entre Ríos and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, national agencies, civil society and scientific and academic institutions against events involving marine fauna in vulnerable situations on account of being beached or affected by coastal arrivals.
Resolution No. 213/2021 issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. Through this Resolution, the annex of Resolution 110/2021 issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development that established the procedure for importing and exporting chemical products is replaced.
Resolution No. 202/2021 issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. The Resolution creates the National Program for Environmental Risk Prevention as a framework for the strengthening and integration of information of the Mandatory Environmental Insurance, within the scope of the Environmental Risk Assessment Unit of the Monitoring and Prevention Directorate of the Secretariat of Environmental Control and Monitoring.
Matanza-Riachuelo Basin:
Resolution No. 214/2021 issued by the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin Authority. The Resolution modifies Resolution No. 297/2018 that created the Registry of Facilities and Activities of the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin in which every person who is responsible for the operation of or owns any industrial, commercial facility or services, activity facility, located within the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin, must register.
Resolution No. 191/2021 issued by the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin Authority. The Resolution approved the “Integral Program of Menstrual Management.”
Resolution No. 190/2021 issued by the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin Authority. The Resolution calls for a public hearing to allow and promote effective public participation in relation to the “ACUMAR Indicators System” project.
City of Buenos Aires:
Resolution No. 454/2021 issued by the Ministry of Public Space and Urban Hygiene. The Resolution approved the operative regime of urban solid wastes and forms corresponding to the special service of differentiated collection of the organic fraction of urban solid waste.
Province of Buenos Aires:
Decree No. 735/2021. The Provincial Agency for Sustainable Development is designated as the enforcement authority of Law No. 14,321 that establishes a set of guidelines, obligations, and responsibilities for the sustainable management of electronic and electrical equipment wastes (“RAEEs,” after its Spanish acronym) within the Province of Buenos Aires.
Resolution No. 191/2021 issued by the Provincial Agency for Sustainable Development. The Resolution approved the guidelines for the preparation of the Environmental Impact Study (“EsIA,” after its Spanish acronym) for second and third category facilities already installed at level 1 or 2 or to be installed.
