Goods Manufactured in Tierra del Fuego: New Shipment Regime
To foster domestic purchases, the Executive implemented a simplified regime to import goods from the Special Customs Area in Tierra del Fuego.

Through Decree 334/2025, published in the Official Gazette on May 20, 2025, the Federal Executive established a simplified import regime for personal shipments, aimed at promoting the purchase of products manufactured in Tierra del Fuego. This regime allows end-consumers to purchase goods with certain benefits, provided they are not intended for commercial purposes.
The new regime authorizes entering up to three units of the same group per shipment, with a maximum value of USD 3000 per shipment. This limitation applies per recipient and per calendar year. Regarding companies, those selling their products under the simplified regime must offer them online.
The Secretariat of Industry and Commerce under the Ministry of Economy will detail the goods eligible to be commercialized under this regime. These will have to be duly certified with the corresponding certificate of origin provided by the manufacturer.
This regime seeks to reduce bureaucracy in customs procedures and facilitate consumers’ access to products originating in Tierra del Fuego.
