María Manuela Lava

María Manuela Lava joined Marval, O’Farrell Mairal in 2004 and is currently a member of the Banking & Finance department.

She graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires with a law degree in 2004.

María Manuela specializes in capital markets and corporate finance. She has extensive experience in syndicated and bilateral loans and other financings, public offer of negotiable obligations and financial trusts. In recent years she has participated in more than 20 transactions, including among others, syndicated loans granted by prestigious international and local financial institutions. She also has experience in trusts and has recently advised in the creation of several financial trusts.

In recent years, Manuela has been involved in strategic and regulatory advice to Fintech companies, especially regarding crowdlending, prepaid cards, e-wallets and cryptocurrencies. She carried out carried out the report “Comparative Regulation Research and Study – FinTech,” promoted by the Innovation Laboratory of the Inter-American Development Bank Group (BID Lab) and organized by the Argentine Chamber of Fintech.

She has participated in talks and seminars and has written many articles and agreements about capital markets and financial trusts.
