Josefina Griot

Josefina Griot joined Marval O'Farrell Mairal in 2017 and rejoined the firm in 2026 after practicing for several years in New York. She specializes in mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions and other cross-border corporate transactions.

Between 2022 and 2026, Josefina was an associate in the Latin America Corporate Group of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York, where she advised financial institutions, corporate borrowers, sponsors and multinational companies on a broad range of transactions throughout Latin America, including mergers and acquisitions, syndicated loans, acquisition financings, project financings and liability management transactions.

At Marval, Josefina regularly advises domestic and international clients on complex mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions and other cross-border corporate transactions.

Josefina graduated from the National University of Rosario in 2016 and received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia Law School in 2022.

She is admitted to practice law in New York and is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association.
