Marval O’Farrell Mairal Advised EMS Capital LLC in the Acquisition of Werthein Group’s Equity Stake in TGS

On July 13, 2020, PCT LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hedge Fund EMS Capital LLC), acquired from WST S.A. (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Werthein Group) all of its equity interest in PEPCA S.A. which indirectly represents 4.8% of Transportadora de Gas del Sur (TGS), the largest gas transporter of LATAM. With the acquisition by PCT LLC of WST S.A.’s shares in PEPCA S.A., the former reached an indirect co-controlling equity stake in TGS of 22.9%
