Marval advised the placement agents on the issuance of Class I and Class II Notes by Empresa Provincial De Energia De Cordoba S.A.U.

Marval O’Farrell Mairal advised the placement agents in connection with the issuance of Class I and Class II by Empresa Provincial De Energia De Cordoba S.A.U. (“EPEC”), carried out under its global program for the issuance of simple notes (non-convertible into shares) for up to US$300 million (or its equivalent in other currencies or units of value).

The transaction involved the issuance of notes denominated in U.S. dollars and UVA, with principal amounts of US$ 21,316,695 and UVA 13,458,500 respectively. Empresa Provincial De Energia De Cordoba S.A.U. acted as issuer, Banco de la Provincia de Córdoba S.A. acted as arranger and as placement agent, while SyC Inversiones S.A., Banco Santander Argentina S.A., Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A., Macro Securities S.A.U., Puente Hnos. S.A., Balanz Capital Valores S.A.U., Invertir Online S.A.U., Banco de Servicios y Transacciones S.A.U., Facimex Valores S.A., One618 Financial Services S.A.U., PP Inversiones S.A. y Global Valores S.A. acted as placement agents.

EPEC, the state-owned company responsible for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power in the Province of Córdoba, returned to the capital markets with an issuance that marks the first step of a larger-scale financing strategy, through which the company seeks to diversify its funding sources and establish itself as a recurring issuer. Most of the funds raised will be used to finance the development and modernization of the Province of Córdoba's electrical infrastructure.
