Workshop on Trademark Coexistence Agreements
Together with MARQUES, the European Association of Trademark Owners, on March 5, 2015, Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal organized a Workshop on Trademark Coexistence Agreements.
The workshop was moderated by Sergio E. Ellmann as a MARQUES Representative and Diego Fernández gave a presentation on the most important issues to be considered when negotiating and drafting coexistence agreements. At the same time, participants were presented with a made-up case in respect of which they had to draft the framework of a possible agreement.
The aim of the workshop was to train participants on the skills of negotiating this type of agreements.
