Digital Filing Expanded for NGOs
The Public Registry of the Province of Buenos Aires seeks to provide greater accessibility for civil associations, foundations, and mutual aid societies.
Through Provision 19/2026 of May 6, 2026, the Public Registry of Commerce of the Province of Buenos Aires established that civil associations, foundations, and mutual aid societies must submit pre- and post-meeting documentation exclusively through a digital and remote procedure. Documentation for normalizing civil associations and for intervening civil associations and foundations may also be submitted through this procedure.
The measure will take effect on June 1, 2026, and submissions will be made through the Buenos Aires provincial government’s digital forms platform, which is available on the agency’s official website.
Submissions must be made by authorized representatives, agents, or persons authorized for that purpose, and their identity will be verified upon accessing the platform using their tax IDs. Files may only be uploaded in pdf format, with a maximum size of 6 megabytes, and those that are reproductions of paper documents must have a resolution of 150 pixels per inch.
Alternatively, NGOs may submit the paperwork in paper format to the agency’s regional offices, municipalities, or other agencies with existing agreements, and it will be the regional representative or authorized official who will initiate the digital file by attaching the relevant documentation.
