Fiscal Consensus Resources for Education
The Decree extends the allocation of fiscal consensus resources for the provinces and the City of Buenos Aires
The Executive issued Emergency Decree 231/2024, published in the Official Gazette on March 7, 2024, establishing the effectiveness for the fiscal year 2024 of the specific allocation of fiscal consensus resources. This allocation had been created by article 7 of Law 26075, to guarantee equitable and supportive conditions in the federal education system.
The law had been enacted to ensure the automatic distribution of resources to the ministries of education or equivalent agencies of the provinces and the City of Buenos Aires, and to the municipalities. These resources will cover expenses strictly related to education.
