Antidumping Proceedings: Sanitary fittings from Brazil

The Ministry of Productive Development, by Resolution No. 228/2021, opened the sunset review on exports to Argentina of ceramic sanitary fittings including: toilets, tanks or cisterns, column sinks (pedestals) and bidets, from Brazil. These goods are classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Codes (N.C.M) 6910.10.00 and 6910.90.00.

The sunset review was opened on account of the expiration of the term and change of circumstances surrounding the antidumping measures provided by Resolution No. 245 dated June 8, 2016 and issued by the former Ministry of Production. The Resolution keeps current antidumping measures in force until the sunset review is completed.

The company FERRUM S.A. DE CERÁMICA Y METALURGIA requested the opening of the sunset review.

So far, the authorities have determined a dumping margin of 354.16% from Brazil.
