Antidumping Proceedings – Electric Irons from China

The Ministry of Productive Development, by Resolution N° 171/2020, opened the review due to the expiration of the term of the antidumping measures provided by Resolution N° 244 dated April 15, 2015 from the former Ministry of Economy and Public Finance, on exports to Argentina of electric irons excluding the irons that are connected by pipes to an external steam generator, from China, classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Code (N.C.M) 8516.40.00., while keeping the current antidumping measures until the completion of the review.

The CHAMBER of FANS, STOVES, IRONS AND RELATED PRODUCTS PRODUCERS and the companies AXEL S.A., GOLDMUND S.A. and METALÚRGICA CRIVEL S.C. requested the opening of the review process of the antidumping measures.

The authorities determined a presumptive dumping margin of 403% for China.
