Antidumping Proceedings: Turkish Polyvinyl Chloride Polymer Profiles

The Secretariat of Industry, Economy of Knowledge and External Commercial Management, by Resolution No. 238/2021, initiated an investigation for alleged dumping in exports to Argentina of polyvinyl chloride polymers profiles from Turkey. The investigation looks into the kinds of PVC polymers used to manufacture openings and closures, which are classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Code (N.C.M) No. 3916.20.00.

The antidumping investigation was requested by the company TECNOPERFILES S.A.

So far, the authorities have estimated that the dumping margin for Turkey  could be as high as 74.50%.
