Antidumping Proceedings – Microwave Ovens from China

Through Resolution 91/2024, the Secretariat of Industry and Commerce opened an investigation for alleged dumping on exports from China to Argentina.

The goods involved are “mechanical and digital microwave ovens with or without grill of a capacity not exceeding forty-five liters (45 liters), excluding embeddable microwave ovens,” classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Codes (NCM) 8516.50.00.

It was the companies NEWSAN SA, RADIO VICTORIA ARGENTINA SA, and BGH SA that requested the opening of the antidumping investigation.

So far, authorities have estimated a dumping margin of 17.84%, considering exports to Argentina from China.
