Antidumping Proceedings: Measuring Tapes
The Ministry of Productive Development (by Resolution No. 757/2021) opened a sunset review on account of the expiration of the term and change of circumstances of the antidumping measures on exports from China to Argentina of “measuring tape, in all its presentations, excluding folding tapes, the ones used in tailoring and non-metallic measuring tapes used for anatomical measurements.” These goods are classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Code (N.C.M) 9017.80.10.
The company Mediciones Evel S.A. requested the opening of the sunset review.
The Resolution keeps current antidumping measures in force until the sunset review is completed.
So far, the authorities have determined a dumping margin of 61.54% from China, considering exports to Chile as the third market country.
