Antidumping Proceedings – Pumps from China
The Ministry of Productive Development, by Resolution N° 490/2020, opened the review due to the expiration of the term and change of circumstances of the antidumping measures provided by Resolution N° 1.011, dated September 25, 2015 from the former Ministry of Economy and Public Finance, on exports to Argentina of cooling or water pumps for spark ignition or compression engines with capacity between 2m3/hr. and 18m3/hr., for the secondary market, weighing between 0.5 kg and 18 kg per unit and to be used in car engines, trucks, vans, agricultural equipment, tractors, speed boats, generators, mobile plants and other spark ignition or compression engines excluding railways and air engines and pumps from the following commercial brands: Kia, Mitsubishi, Caterpillar, Yue Jin, Chrysler, Cummins, Deutz, and Suzuki, from China, classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Code (N.C.M.) 8413.30.90, while keeping the current antidumping measures until the completion of the review.
The company VMG S.A. requested the opening of the review process of the antidumping measure.
The authorities determined a presumptive dumping margin of 44% for China.
