Antidumping Proceedings: Sodium Benzoate

The Ministry of Productive Development, by Resolution No. 1161/2021, opened an antidumping investigation on exports to Argentina of “sodium benzoate” from China and The Netherlands. This good is classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Code (N.C.M) 2916.31.21.

The companies PETROQUÍMICA ARGENTINA S.A. and DUTCH STARCHES INTERNATIONAL S.A. requested the opening of the antidumping investigation. 

So far, the authorities determined a presumptive dumping margin of 7.63% for China and 32.98% for The Netherlands.
