Antidumping Proceedings – Sunglasses from China
The Ministry of Productive Development, by Resolution No. 96/2021, opened the review due to the expiration of the term of the antidumping measures provided by Resolution No. 218 dated May 29, 2019 from the former Ministry of Production and Labor, on exports to Argentina of sunglasses, eyeglass frames, and corrective or undergraduate spectacles (eyeglasses) from China, classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Codes (N.C.M) 9003.11.00, 9003.19.10, 9003.19.90, 9004.10.00 and 9004.90.10, while keeping the current antidumping measures until the completion of the review.
The ARGENTINE CHAMBER OF OPTICAL INDUSTRY AND RELATED INDUSTRIES with the adherent companies LGI S.R.L., RANIERI ARGENTINA S.A., CACIC SPORTS VISION S.R.L. and ALBACETE S.A. requested the opening of the review process of the antidumping measures.
The authorities determined a presumptive dumping margin of 397.83% for China.
