Anti-Dumping Proceeding: Tableware

A sunset review was opened due to the expiration of the term and a change in circumstances regarding the antidumping measure set for exports from China to Argentina of fixed-blade table knives, forks, and spoons, made of stainless steel, with wooden or plastic handles.

Through Resolution 812/2026, the Ministry of Economy opened a sunset review investigation, due to the expiration of the term and change in circumstances of the antidumping measures set for exports from China to Argentina of  “Fixed-blade table knives, forks, and spoons, made of stainless steel, with wooden or plastic handles, including those presented in sets.”

The products involved are classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Code (NCM) 8211.10.00, 8211.91.00, 8215.20.00, and 8215.99.10.

It was the company CINCAM SACIFA that requested opening the sunset review.

At this time, the Argentine Foreign Trade Commission (CNCE) has determined that there is sufficient evidence to support the allegations of a recurrence of dumping in imports of the product, as well as the likelihood of continued and/or repeated injury to the domestic industry.

The Resolution provides that the sunset review will be conducted without maintaining the anti-dumping measures in effect for the duration of the review process.
