Antidumping Proceedings: Mixers from Brazil and China

The Ministry of Productive Development (by Resolution No. 325/2021) opened the sunset review on exports to Argentina of “multi-purpose appliances with interchangeable accessories, for processing food and liquids, usually known as food grinders and mixers, except those of manual use,” from Brazil and China. These goods are classified under Mercosur Customs Tariff Code (N.C.M) 8509.40.50.

The sunset review was opened on account of the expiration of the term of the antidumping measures provided under Resolution No. 314 dated July 5, 2016 and issued by the former Ministry of Production. The Resolution keeps current antidumping measures in force until the sunset review is completed.

The companies LILIANA S.R.L. and NEWSAN S.A. requested the opening of the sunset review.

So far, the authorities have determined a dumping margin of 159.44% from Brazil and of 643.77% from China, considering exports to Chile as a third market country.
