Argentine Digital Platform: New Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

Through Regulation 12/2019 of the Under secretariat of Digital Government, the General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy of the Digital Profile of the Citizen MI ARGENTINA and the Particular Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy of MY ARGENTINA - HEALTH were approved, both belong to the Argentine Public Sector Digital Platform, a system of comprehensive digital assistance for citizens' procedures.

Argentine Digital Platform: New Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

The General Terms and Conditions provide general considerations in relation to users, the setting up of their account, identity validation, notifications, data regarding the device used to access the platform, data on the location of the User, and the use of cookies and other anonymous identifiers. It also establishes which activities are prohibited, and the responsibilities of the Administrator.

Likewise, the Particular Terms and Conditions establish the scope and access to the specific My Health section, which contains a map with the health centers, contact details as well as access to emergency telephone numbers and information on first aid, vaccination and pregnancy.

In relation to the Privacy Policy of MY ARGENTINA and MY ARGENTINA – HEALTH, and in accordance with the terms of Argentine Data Protection Law No. 25.326 that establishes the need for informed consent of the data subjects regarding the processing of their personal data, a Privacy Policy informs about: (i) the purpose of the processing, (ii) the identification of the controller of the database, (iii) the purpose and quality of the data, (iv) the confidentiality and security obligations, (v) the possible assignment of the personal data, (vi) the international transfer of personal data, (vii) the rights of the data subjects and how to exercise them, and (vii) the legal basis for the processing of sensitive data.

Regarding the Privacy Policy, the Agency for Access to Public Information, acting as Data Protection Authority, was consulted within the scope of its competence.

Finally, those who do not consent and accept the General and Particular Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy, must refrain from using the Argentine Digital Platform.
