“Los Azules might be one of the biggest copper mines in the world at the lowest cost”, published by <em>Tiempo de San Juan</em> (Province of San Juan) on 09/26/2013.
Authorities of company McEwen Mining Inc., owners of the 100% of project Los Azules, in Calingasta (Province of San Juan), informed that the copper site has the potential to become one of the biggest mines at the lowest cost in the world. Besides, they determined that entrepreneurship might produce up to 255,000 tons during the first 5 years with a lifespan of 35 years. The construction of the mine and processing plant will demand an investment calculated in AR$ 3,900 million.
