Argentine Directorate of Cybersecurity Publishes Report on Ransomware

The Argentine Directorate of Cybersecurity issued a report on ransomware highlighting that the number of victims of this cyberattack is growing exponentially. The report includes practical information on how attackers operate, different attack modalities, and  recommended preventive measures.

The report defines “ransomware” as a type of software that allows cybercriminals to encrypt files or computer systems, preventing a person or organization from accessing their data or devices until they pay a certain amount of money as a "ransom".
