The Supreme Court of Chile ordered to maintain the halt to the construction of Project Pascua-Lama that the country shares with Argentina through the cordillera. The Canadian mining company Barrick Gold, the owner of the project, was forced to adopt mitigation measures due to complaints of possible environmental damages.
