Digital Government and Software
Through Resolution No. 24/2019, the Under Secretary of Digital Government created the official Open Source Repository of the Government of Argentina.

In April 2019, Resolution No. 2/2019, established the Code of Good Practices for the development of public software (for more information here), establishing that, in terms of software development in government areas, it is considered a good practice the design of solutions that are reusable, that avoid duplication of efforts and favor collaboration. Recently, and in the same line, the Under Secretary of Digital Government through Disposition No. 24/2019 (the “Disposition”) ordered the release of source codes of State software, platform and application in an official Open Source Repository of the Government of the Republic Argentina.
The Resolution established the URL https://github.com/argob/ as an integral part of the National Public Sector Digital Platform. In this URL the code of the following platforms and software developments must be published: (i) Ar Distro; (ii) Mi Argentina - Distro; (iii) ID Mi Argentina - Distro; (iv) AR API Gateway - Distro; y (v) Poncho.
