Matias Juan Marotta

Matías Juan Marotta joined Marval O'Farrell Mairal in 2025 and is currently a member of the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration Department. His practice focuses on providing legal counsel and dispute management for companies across a wide range of economic sectors.

His professional experience has centered on litigation proceedings related to insolvency law and judicial debt restructuring, including concursos y quiebras (reorganization and bankruptcy). In this field, he has been involved in some of the most influential contemporary cases, fostering innovation and significant developments in commercial case law.

Prior to joining Marval, he practiced as an attorney in NTMA’s Litigation, Arbitration & Bankruptcy Department.

Matías earned his law degree from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in 2021, where he also completed postgraduate courses in Economic Analysis of Consumer Law (2021), Quantification of Damages (2021), and Complex Litigation within the Argentinian Supreme Court’s Jurisdiction (2024). At the same institution, he served as Adjunct Professor of Property Law (2023 - 2025), under the direction of Judge Claudio Kiper. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Law at Universidad Austral.

He has been a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association since 2022.
