Juan Marcelo Ramírez Oyhanarte joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 2019 and is a senior associate in the Tax area. His practice there focuses on tax litigation and on providing advice to clients in connection with tax matters.
Before joining the Firm, he worked in the tax practice areas of other law firms.
Juan graduated as a lawyer, with honors, from University of Buenos Aires Law School in 2013. During his studies, he participated in research projects and attended one semester at Tulane University Law School, New Orleans, after being awarded an academic merit scholarship. Later, he completed the Specialization in Tax Law and the Master’s Degree in Taxation at the University of Buenos Aires Law School.
He has completed multiple tax-related programs at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, Torcuato Di Tella University, and the University of Belgrano. He has also obtained the Advanced Professional Certificate in International Taxation, awarded by IBFD.
In addition to his professional practice, he has participated as a lecturer in courses or programs related to tax matters at University of Buenos Aires, Torcuato Di Tella University, and at Universidad Argentina de la Empresa, and he has authored several articles on tax law.
He is a member of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association and the Argentine Tax Studies Association.
