VI Brazil-Argentina Legal-Business Seminar

The “VI Brazil-Argentina Legal-Business Seminar – Competition Law” organized by the Brazilian Embassy, with the sponsorship of Demarest e Almeida (Brazil) and Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal (Argentina), was held at the Auditorium of the Brazilian Embassy in Buenos Aires on September 6, 2007. Ambassador Mauro Vieira, Dr Elizabeth Farina, President of CADE (Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica), Brazilian antitrust agency, Lic. José Alberto Sbattella, President of the Argentine antitrust agency, Dr Humberto Guardia Mendonça, member of the Argentine antitrust agency, and specialized lawyers Mário Roberto Villanova Nogueira (Demarest e Almeida) and Alfredo M O’Farrell, participated in the seminar. Alfredo M Farrell gave a presentation on “Some comments on antitrust in Argentina”.
