Senior partner of one of the main law firms of China visits Buenos Aires

Dr LIU Linfei, senior partner of the Chinese law firm JUN HE, is visiting Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal. JUN HE is one of the main law firms of China, with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Haikou and Shenzen. Both law firms are associated through the Lex Mundi organization comprised by more than 15,000 lawyers practicing in more than 160 law firms.

During the last years, Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal’s interaction with Asian clients (and especially Chinese) and commercial and government missions has significantly increased. Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal was visited by members of the Supreme Court of the province of Shanghai and by missions interested in learning about specific aspects of the Argentine legal system. Our firm is also assisting our Chinese clients and our Argentine clients in China to handle their business and their trademarks and patents.

On August 31, 2004 Mr. LIU gave a talk in Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal on aspects of the Chinese legal system and the main issues to take into account to do business in China.

Mr LIU will be a panelist at the FIEL conference to be held on September 1, 2004 in the Alvear Palace Hotel, where he will give a presentation on the reform process in China.
