Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal organized the Seminar “Industries in an even more regulated environment” which was held in our offices on July 23, 2010. Dr. Alejandro Panizzi, a member of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Province of Chubut and Mr. Alejandro Guerrero, CEO of insurance brokers Marsh S.A. were the invited speakers of the panel on “Liability Regime for Environmental Damages”. Messrs Javier Corcuera and Adrián Gonzalez, President and Chief of Cabinet, respectively, of the Environmental Protection Agency of the City of Buenos Aires and Dr. Ignacio Pujante, lawyer from the Province of Neuquen and a specialist on hydrocarbon activities, were the invited speakers of the panel on “Environmental Regulations on Basins“.
