Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal organized the Seminar on “Intangible Assets – Tax Issues” held at the Faena Hotel on May 28, 2009, under the coordination of Gabriel Gotlib and Gustavo P Giay. At this seminar, which was attended by more than 100 people, Gustavo P Giay gave a presentation on “Intellectual Property and its protection”, Andrés Robledo on “Transactions with Intangibles”; Fernando Vaquero on “Transfer of Technology Agreements”; Juan Pablo Rothschild on “Stamp Tax in Buenos Aires and in other jurisdictions” and Gabriel Gotlib on “Intangible Assets as Strategic Property”. Dr Aldo Petrone Director of Transfer of Technology of the Argentine Industrial Property Agency (Instituto Nacional de la Propiedad Industrial or INPI), also attended the seminar, contributing with interesting comments.
