At the 134th Annual Meeting of the International Trademark Association held in Washington DC from May 5-9, 2012, Iris V. Quadrio gave a presentation in the workshop "Rise and Shine. Getting the most out of your committee participation". Gustavo P. Giay chaired the meeting of the Anticounterfeiting Committee. He also attended the meetings of several regional subcommittees, the meeting of the Policy Development and Advocacy Group, and the meeting of the Latin American Council of INTA.
