ICANN Meeting 53 in Buenos Aires

Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal hosted the wine tasting organized by International Trademark Association (INTA) and Brand Registry Group on June 22, 2015, on the occasion of the ICANN 53 meeting held in Buenos Aires, attended by about 100 people. The welcoming remarks were delivered by Lori Schulman, Senior Director, Internet Policy of INTA, J. Scott Evans, INTA President and Martin C. Sutton, President of Brand Registry Group.
On June 20, 2015, Diego Fernández participated as a speaker at the LAC NGO Assembly on Internet Governance, primarily focused on the needs of NGOs within ICANN. Diego and the rest of the speakers were invited to address “Why is Internet Governance important for my organization and which is the most urgent Internet operational concern that we would like to see addressed”. The event took place within the ICANN Meeting 53 and was promoted by Pathfinder and the Global Knowledge Partnership Foundation.
