Martín Bensadon, Gloria Montaron Estrada, Diego Fernández, María Laura Etcheverry and Mariano Peruzzotti were speakers at the XXV Annual Meeting on Industrial Property hosted by the Argentine Association of Industrial Property Agents at the Four Seasons Hotel (Buenos Aires) on August 25 and 26, 2011. Martín Bensadon gave a presentation on “Irreparable harm as a requisite for preliminary injunctions in patents”. Gloria Montaron Estrada delivered an “Update on recent court decisions on patents”. Diego Fernández lectured on “Liability for the use of trademarks and other IP rights in the Internet." María Laura Etcheverry and Mariano Peruzzotti presented conclusions of the working breakfasts at this meeting, on “Argentina’s adhesion to the PCT: practical effects, advisability” and “Effects of the new mediation law in the prosecution of trademarks”, respectively.

Iris V. Quadrio was a member of the panel on “IP Protection: A Regional View” at the IV Workshop organized by the Chilean Association of Intellectual Property -ACHIPI 2011- and held in Santiago, Chile, on August 22, 2011.
