At the XII Work Sessions and Administrative Council of the Inter American Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI) held at Punta del Este (Uruguay) on November 20-23, 2005, Santiago R O’Conor was a moderator at the Plenary Session “Current Situation and the Future of Intellectual Property in the Context of Integration” at which Sergio Abreu (Uruguay) and Prof. José Gómez Segade (University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain) were panelists. At these Work Sessions Mr. O’Conor gathered several IP specialists at the IP International Business Committee, chaired by him.
