Latin Lawyer Deals of the Year Awards

Two deals counseled by our firm are shortlisted for the 2012 Deals of the Year Awards as announced by Latin Lawyer, the leading business law magazine edited by Business Law Research. Shortlisted deals include:

- Private Equity award: the acquisition of Telefónica’s Atento call center business, the second largest call center operator in the world, by US private equity firm Bain Capital, and

- Dispute Deal award: CIESA - Pampa Energía Agreement settling a debt restructuring which has taken years of legal battles in New York and Argentina to resolve.
