Marval O’Farrell Mairal advises Cristalpet on the acquisition of Syphon’s shares

Marval O’Farrell Mairal advised Cristalpet S.A. (ENVASES Uruguay), a company belonging to the Envases Universales group, on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Syphon S.A.

Syphon is an Argentine company specializing in the manufacture and sale of PET preforms for the packaging industry, supplying companies in the beverage, food, cleaning products, and mass consumption sectors. With over three decades of experience, the company develops solutions tailored to different formats and applications, combining state-of-the-art injection technology, high quality standards, and industrial-scale production capacity.

The company operates commercially from the Parque Patricios neighborhood in the City of Buenos Aires and has an industrial plant located in the Pilar Industrial Park, Province of Buenos Aires.

Through this acquisition, the Envases Universales group strengthens its presence in Argentina and consolidates its position in the MERCOSUR PET packaging market.
