Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal advises AMBEV on acquisition of Quilmes

On May 2002, Companhia De Bebidas Das Americas (“AmBev”), the largest brewer in Brazil and South America, and Beverage Associates Corp. announced an agreement to integrate the operations of AmBev and Quilmes Industrial S.A. (“QUINSA”), the largest brewer in Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay, in South America’s Southern cone.
