Marval advises Tsingshan on the sale of its stake in an Eramet lithium project in Argentina
Marval O’Farrell Mairal advised Eternal Tsingshan Group Co. Ltd. in the sale of its stake in Eramine Sudamerica SA.
After three years of the initial investment of Eternal Tsingshan Group Co. Ltd. in Eramine Sudamerica SA—an Argentine company that holds the mining concessions in the Centenario-Ratones and Arizaro salars in Argentina—Eramet repurchased 49.9% of Eramine Sudamerica SA, recovering the entire shareholding. The net purchase price was USD 699 million dollars.
Marval’s team advised Eternal Tsingshan Group Co. Ltd. through a team led by partner Macarena Garcia Mirri and associates Agustina Arias and Felicitas Bunge Ludtke. Leonardo Rodriguez, head of the Mining Department, and Enrique Stile, from the Labor Department, also participated in the deal.
Guillaume Calais and Francisco Garcia Elorrio Malbran, from Eramet’s in-house Legal–M&A and Strategic Projects team, were also an essential part of the transaction.
