Marval advised the shareholders of Ekumen in their sale to Grid Dynamics

Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal advised the shareholders of Ekumen, an Argentina-based company specializing in software engineering, robotics and Physical AI, in the sale of their entire interest in the Ekumen group to Grid Dynamics Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: GDYN), a global provider of digital transformation, artificial intelligence and platform engineering services.

The transaction included the acquisition of entities in Argentina, the United States and Germany, and required the coordination of corporate, regulatory, employment, tax and contractual matters across multiple jurisdictions.

The transaction is particularly noteworthy because it involved the acquisition of a multi-jurisdictional technology group by a Nasdaq-listed company and highlights the increasing attractiveness of the Argentine technology ecosystem for strategic international investors.
