Marval advises in the issuance of “Mercado Crédito IV” Financial Trust
After advising in the first, second and third series, Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal acted as legal advisor in the creation of the fourth series of “Mercado Crédito” financial trust for an amount of ARS 348,127,864; issued under the “Mercado Crédito” Program that securitized 100%-digital loans.
The transaction took place on May 16, 2019 and included the issuance of trust debt securities for a total amount of ARS 278,502,292 and certificates of participation for a total amount of ARS 69,625,572.
MercadoLibre acted as settlor and administrator, and Banco Patagonia as trustee, arranger and underwriter.
Under the same structure as the previous issuance, the securitized assets of Mercado Crédito IV consist of 100%-digital format loans, by executing private instruments signed by electronic signature.
This transaction was authorized for public offering by the Argentine Securities and Exchange Commission and is listed in Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos S.A. and Mercado Abierto Electrónico S.A.
