Marval advises TripAdvisor in the acquisition of Restorando
Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal advised TripAdvisor on the acquisition of Restorando, the online restaurant reservations platform based in Latin America.
The transaction, which closed on February 27, 2019, was made through TheFork, a company that belongs to TripAdvisor.
With this acquisition, TheFork became the leading platform in online restaurants reservations in Europe, Latin America and Australia, with over 21 million visits per month and a network of over 60.000 restaurants in 18 countries.
Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal acted as legal counsel to TripAdvisor with partners Pablo Artagaveytia and Diego Krischcautzky, and associate Lorena Aimo.
Restorando’s shareholders were advised by Gunderson Dettmer.
Estudio Garrido acted as legal advisor to the sellers with partners Gustavo Garrido, Patricia Maccaferri, Maria Marta Cancio and associate Francisco Ruiz Guiñazú.
